About the studio

A practice built from hands, instruments, and open inquiry

I teach guitar and art from my home studio, and I make room for different ways of learning. My own work as a musician and artist shapes how I guide students through technical hurdles and creative blocks alike.

Over years of studio practice, I have guided students through the practical side of playing and making, while staying curious about what they want to create. My teaching combines practical instrumental skill with open creative inquiry.

The home studio

Learning in a home studio offers a relaxed, patient, and focused setting, where there is time to listen to the instrument, the work, and the person making it.— Studio practice
